OCA Colorado and GB Fish and Chips have registered a team for the 2013 Colorado Dragon Boat
Festival. The team will compete in the Hong Kong Style dragon boat race.
We are looking for members to fill the boat. Please let us know if you
are interested in joining OCA Colorado to participate in this race as a
paddler. Please note that if we have more people signed up than the
number of paddlers we need to recruit for, we will draw names. (Preference will be given to OCA Colorado members.)
Here are some of the details that you need to know:
* Festival Date: July 27 and 28, 2012 (Saturday and Sunday)
* Our Team: OCA - DragonFlies - GB
*
Race Team Fee: $15/person. This includes a t-shirt, one mandatory practice and dragon boat racing during the festival weekend.

Training: 1. One mandatory training provided by the Colorado Dragon
Boat Race Committee; 2. Our captains will organize extra training
sessions for our team, if needed.
* Dates for Training: The first training will be held June 8, 2013, 10:30am at The Aurora Reservoir.
* Your commitment: Must attend the mandatory training provided by the Colorado Dragon Boat Race Committee; attend all other training sessions if at all possible; must be at the Festival the whole weekend (July 27-28) to be ready to race; attend some of the meetings if needed
