Annual Community Picnic

This great non profit organization collects backpacks and school supplies to give to homeless and disadvantaged Denver Public Schools students.  Without these donated backpacks these students resort to using plastic grocery bags to carry their belongings.

Dragon Boat Festival

The 2014 Dragon Boat Festival is soon approaching, and OCA Colorado would like to invite you to help command the OCA team, the DragonFlies, ​during this​ famous ​event​​! ​ We will be in the Flag Catching race this year, to be held in Sloan's Lake on Saturday, July 19th. Practices will also be held at Aurora Reservoir, times to be determined.

Sign-up for current OCA members is $10, and will include a free team t-shirt. Sign-up for non-OCA members is $25, and will include a free one-year membership to OCA in addition to the team t-shirt.

2014 Asian American Heroes of Colorado Award Ceremony

Each year, heroes are selected by a committee comprised of members from OCA Colorado, Asian Chamber of Commerce, Asian Avenue magazine, Mile High Japanese American Citizens League, Colorado Asian Pacific Youth Association, Asian Pacific Development Center, Colorado Asian Culture and Education Network, and National Association of Asian American Professionals – Colorado, Asian American Journalists Association and Theatre Espirit Asia.

Now in its 6th year, we honor deserving members of the Asian American community, the unsung heroes, the shining stars, the selfless leaders at the 2014 Asian American Heroes of Colorado Awards Ceremony.
